Sugar
I have a mug filled with skittles! Do you have a mug? Does it have skittles in it? Didn’t think so. Yeah, I’d be jealous of me too. ^_^
Feel free to start a pool on how long they’ll last

Actually, it’s kinda funny right now. I went to 320 today, it being thursday and not tuesday. It’s kinda funny how I’ve never felt like going on tuesdays and ended up skipping, then feeling guilty about skipping on tuesday I go thursday. I got to class early, so I sat and listened to my tunes for about 10 minutes. Krista and Linda show up, so I’m like, “Cool, I get to see Krista and Linda. That’s such a rarity.” Linda sits down and asks me something, but I don’t hear because she’s on my left side, same as my earphone. I take it out and motion for her to ask again. She wants to know if I think the test will be hard or something. I, having paid the least bit of attention to this class, respond with another question. “We have a test today?” She thinks I’m joking, but it’s not funny like most of my jokes. I was not joking, however, which I made obvious by a string of 4 letter words.
Now that I’ve explained the situation in a very wordy manner, I think I managed to do a pretty good job on said test. The only problem is I think it took a lot longer than it should have. Anyway, I think it’s kinda funny, and that’ll be my opinion at least until I get my grade back.
That was very mininmal test preparation, even for me

My bandwidth’s back! On to news of financial importance ($2500 worth of importance to be specific). I talked to Karen Moyer today, and I’m in really good shape to graduate next June. I also have time yet to apply for teh CS honors prog. Basically I need to fill out an application, get two letters of recommendation, have a 3.25 GPA, complete 3/4 of these classes: CEG 360, 433, 434, CS 466, be a senior, have at least 3 quarters remaining, and have demonstrated academic excellence, strong self-motivation and perseverance, and in general, the ability to pursue advanced study (read: stupid slackers need not apply). Basically I’ll have to take two of those courses this spring (no biggie), and I have until June to get two letters of recommendation (I bet Finkel will be one). So in conclusion, it’s all good. But wait, there’s more good news! Being so bored without DSL last night, I went and opened up my comp again and installed linux. My comp has both now and it’s happy and so am I. ^_^ I reconfigured LILO (the boot menu linux installs) so XP is the default OS to boot and it waits 60 seconds until picking the default for me. This means I shouldn’t accidentally start up in Linux when I wanted windows and subsequentially restart my comp. in frustration before Linux is done booting. (It doesn’t like that very much.) Now that I got the ‘net back I may spend some time downloading some cool apps for linux.
or I may spend all night playing RO. ^_^

DSL’s been dead for 36 hours now… Thank the good lord for bandwidth leeching. This lack of internet has drove me to work… it’s kinda funny. It also kinda sucks. Anyway, I wanted to address any worries stemming from my last post. I met with Mary Kenton (she’s the head of teh honors prog) yesterday and I still have time to get my departmental honors program set up. I also set up a meeting with my advisor for today @ noon. If I remember I’ll post an update on that before I leave school tonight. If I forget, maybe I’ll be lucky and our DSL will be fixed.
I feel so disconnected

Yeah, so I could have registered last Wednesday. But instead I just now started registering and I realized I have 30 hours of electives to take and I don’t know what they are yet. That alone is enough to worry me, but it gets worse. I don’t think I’ll be getting my honors scholarship next year because I haven’t met with my departmental honors advisor and I was supposed to last quarter to arrange a program for my senior year. I’ll be heading to both the honors department and the college of engineering and comp. sci. tomorrow to sort this out. I hope to come back with good news. Worst case scenario: I don’t graduate with something from the honors program and I only get $9xx per quarter next year instead of $1700. I guess that’s not too horrible.
My taxes won’t be so high that way

do you know where your blogger is? He’s eating dinner, of course.
What? You think it’s odd that I’m eating supper slightly before midnight?

It took me 6 more hours, but it’s done. Now do I work on my 400 paper or do I play some well earned RO? I think I know the answer to that question.
What do you mean the answer’s not 7? It’s not “play RO,” either? damn you, conscience!
