Lavish Gifts
Wow. Ball got me a keychain for being there a whole year. It’s better than nothing, but frankly I enjoy the badge holder that everyone got a while back much better. It has a retractable string. I use it as a whip. ^_^

Anniversary
Wow, I’ve been working at Ball Aerospace for a year now. By the time I graduate I’ll have almost two years of experience under my belt. I guess it doesn’t seem that long because I haven’t been working full time for most of it. I also feel like a n00b again like last fall because I’ve moved downstairs to a different group.
What’s more interesting though, is that Don is retiring tomorrow…ish. He’s the guy who hired me, btw. He’s not technically retiring for good, he’ll be around 10 hours or so each week as a “technical advisor” (think consultant, but without that title’s baggage). *Sigh* so much change…

Me: “What is the low temperature for tonight and tomorrow night?”
Ugh, damn these canines and their heat inducing properties. Why they gotta be like that? We had two nice nights after the hot humid crap that went on last Friday. I soaked my shirt with sweat just playing golf. I’m still all bit up from that night too.

Sandbag Trickery
Something is really messed up here…some cheat has to be enabled to beat up sandbag like that without it going all over the place. I try to toss the bat like that and the sandbag goes off the platform at 20%. That clip of fox standing at the “edge” of the track with the sandbag makes me extra suspicious.

Resource Management
I’m so farking glad Wright State uses my $55 dollars I paid for a parking pass on shiny, laminated, parkinging passes with a fancy logos on them instead of something useful, like, I don’t know… better parking? That little memo they sent encouraging me to use lot 4 or lot 20 when I’m running late is really cute, too. If I’m running late, parking in one of those lots won’t help me any. I’m certainly not riding their damn bus at that point. Chances are pretty good I’ll find a spot much closer on any given day.
