Ping just made me feel like the unfortunate Charlie Brown again. I worked really hard on my marketing hw after getting a D last week, and what does Ping do? He gives everyone who turned in the homework A’s! He did the same thing for V-day. Just like Lucy pulling the football away from Charles. *shakes fist* Damn you, Ping!

What makes a $4 value meal cost $4.07? The goddamn pop tax does. Damn you Voinovich! Damn you and your beverage taxing ways!! At least I got 93 cents to whip at Allen now.

This week’s marketing homework was particularly interesting… but stupid. It seems the geniuses who wrote our marketing textbook thought it’d be a good idea to have anentire chapter of their book online. Not only does the author of the linked web page suck at web page design, (an entire chapter on one page? without any navigational links to help quick access of information? bastards!!) but he also managed to link a web site that is under construction for one of the questions we were asked to do. Oh well, I suppose it’s an easily answered question, unlike the other ones posed by the book. “What kinds of services do AOL and Yahoo offer to…” Wait, is this some kind of trick question? AOL and Yahoo don’t offer any services!! They’re shitty portal pages that try to do everything but end up doing nothing well! Everyone knows that, you morons!! Also, they say AOL makes most of its money through ads, but being an ISP, albeit a crappy one, I’d have to ask what about all those monthly payments of $25 they receive? Isn’t that price gouging a major source of revenue for them? And what about their aol for broadband? *snicker* Ok, I couldn’t keep a straight face there. Seriously though I have problems writing stuff that says nothing. Answering questions with intellectually bereft bullshit may be easy for others, but I have problems attaching my name to such crap. No I don’t find anything ironic about making that comment on my blog, why do you ask? Seriously, though. No smartass remarks about that.
I hope Mr. Ping doesn’t just use his program to automagically grade our questions and give B’s for a short answer of “WTF?” to that unanserable question about the link to nowhere. I swear he doesn’t actually read our homework. He couldn’t possibly go through the content of all the homework.

note: I didn’t actually write WTF in my homework. I was damn tempted to though.

I did a double take at this refurbished xbox. What in the world is it doing here? Has the whole world gone crazy?
Either the people at Macmall are traitorous bastards who don’t support the Power PC chip platforms but rather inferior x86 chips, or that’s one sweet deal on an xbox that will dillute Microsoft’s market which will force them to drop xbox prices even further. Either way, I think I see a modded xbox in my future.

Ugh. It’s Tuesday again, and here I am stuck in my cube waiting for five o’clock to roll around. Time actually seems to be moving backwards. Like some sort of cruel anti-time that won’t let me leave. With our CEG project and possibly marketing homework, I won’t get home until Wednesday. Assuming time does start going in the correct direction again.

The cave Mr. Boomer has been living in for the past year must be pretty nice. I woke up this morning to the sound of him on the radio describing his introduction to iTunes after winning a free song via their pepsi promotion. Given the fact that he’s a DJ and thus presumably highly connected to the music industry, I would have thought he’d be well aware of the online music store that’s been out since last April and available to PC users since October. I guess I’d be wrong.
I’m not a big fan of Boomer or his radio station btw. I just found that page with a little quick research, google style.

So what do I turn to when I have a writing block on my paper? That’s right, MXC!! Kenny’s insightful commentary is always a good source of inspiration. ^___^

Seriously, though it’s a nice change of pace for my brain for an hour or so.
