They’re making a cereal restaurant? Call me crazy, but the convenience factor of having someone pour my bowl of cereal for me became zero once I was tall enough to reach the cereal. Also, although it’s doesn’t have to be eaten for breakfast, I’m definitely not leaving my dorm room / apartment for cereal, and if I’m going to eat any other meal on campus, I want just that: a meal. Not a bowl of cereal. Cereal is good because it’s easy to make in the morning when one is still half asleep, and relatively cheap if you buy it on sale in a supermarket. Adding fruit and mixing two different brands doesn’t make it more enticing either. I never liked fruit in my cereal, and everytime I’ve mixed two cereals together because one box was about empty has yielded poor results. I also don’t get the nostalgia factor they’re talking about since I’ve always had cereal for breakfast and can’t really yearn for the days when I had cereal in the morning.
I guess I’m just the old man who doesn’t get it. Humph. Anyway, it seems to be a good excuse to bring up favorite cereals! My current favorite is Peanut Butter Cinnamon Toast Crunch because anything with peanut butter in it is high on my list. (Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch and Reeses Puff’s cereals are both up there too. mmm… peanut butter and milk)

Gemstar is down again. Or at least they don’t have the listings for my area this week. In any case it’s annoying. How difficult can it be to get the tv listings once a week?
Me: Hey Gemstar, how about them tv listings? Are you wearing pajamas?
Gemstar: Sshhh, my head hurts. I was so wasted last night.
Me: And every other night for the past week. TV listings. Where are they?
Gemstar: I think I left them at home. In my bed. *yawns*
Me: Get the hell out of my office.
Luda’s back on aim after a 4 month absence. Sweet.
If I folded shirts, this is how I’d do it.
