Four Days of Christmas

Tag: GeneralJohn @ 12:30 am

Alright, since I know everyone’s dying to know how my christmas went- Shuddap wise guy! Well I’m going to tell you anyway.

Got home from work on Thursday, finished wrapping up some gifts, packed up and headed home. Nothing special. I’m taking stuff out of my car when I get home however and this budget rent-a-truck pulls into our driveway. I go over to the truck and the guy driving it asks me if he has the right address and gives me a banged-up cardboard box with a fed-ex sticker on it. Bewildered I take it, thank the guy and take it inside to find out it is indeed a late fed-ex delivery with christmas gifts mom had ordered. They had been unable to find our house and then their truck broke down on the second try, which somewhat explains the budget truck.

Friday I went to look at mattresses at Heringhaus Furniture for a sanity check pricewise compared to the places I looked at down in Dayton and then with Mom and Dad to look at a replacement for their Jeep. When we got back from a test drive of the Bravada that my parents were considering, I noticed my cell phone was missing and spent the afternoon retracing my steps in an attempt to find it. I checked for it at home, the furniture store, calling it the whole time, and finally found it in the Bravada where we first looked and didn’t see it. My parents ended up buying the Bravada so I’m going to have to be careful in exiting it in the future so I don’t lose my phone again.

Ok. I’m tired and I don’t want to half-ass Saturday and Sunday. So stay tuned for the next part of John’s Christmas Story.

Uploaded a bunch of pictures over the weekend. I put the photos submitted from all over the Inkrott clan as well as pictures from the Inkrott family Christmas party.

I also got some shots of Baxter’s christmas gift. If only he’ll stop chewing on it.

This is some important research. Why haven’t any studies on this been done in the US? Anyone got some numbers? :)

Found a pretty active livejournal community of mac users. Yes, it’s livejournal and all that but there’s some helpful people there if you ever have a question.

Bub and Bob

Scott just ruined Bubble-Bobble for me. :’(
I happily enjoyed that game in my youth with the catchy music, the fun and easy gameplay, and the eating of candy. If I had known the horrible process that is involved in being transformed into a tasty edible object… *shudder*
