Finally got around to taking pictures of my condo now that it’s finished and furnished. Chances are you’ve seen it in person if you’re reading this, but here they are anyway.

I ordered a used copy of The New Tetris online over a month ago, but with the moving and the mail forwarding not working it didn’t arrive until yesterday. I had almost given up hope after being stymied in my efforts to track the package down. It’s all good now though. After borrowing Mats’ copy for several months now, I finally have my own copy with which I can build silver and gold blocks to my heart’s content.

The good news is that I’m still making downward progress on the scale. I’m declaring a new low of 186 pounds as of this morning. I’ve been able to do some lifting at the reserves’ exercise room so I may hold steady or gain weight as I put some muscle back on but that’s definitely ok.
The bad news is that with another 4 pounds in a month I’ve been forced into wearing belts with my work slacks the past few weeks. Yeah, it’s not the worst thing in the world to be complaining about (4 months ago I would have played the world’s smallest violin for such a complaint… actually I still would) but I really don’t want to be buying a whole new wardrobe right now. Those credit card bills are looking rather large this month.

Yeah, I think the audience pretty much hates her. We were so hopeful she’d be gone tonight.
We’ll save the victory beers (and perhaps champagne?) for another night I suppose.
