After having problems with my computer locking up and/or taking forever to boot up the past couple weeks, an Instant-on mini OS sounds like a great idea. They’re talking about just checking email in the morning, etc, but I’m thinking it’d be great to have if windows barfs all over you and won’t let you boot up. You could still get at your email, do some trouble shooting on the web, etc. without having to have a second computer. Since I have a laptop and several roommates, it’s not an issue but for many people having your only pc down like that is very frustrating and as well as allowing the user to do some things on their computer during the down time, a custom diagnostic program provided by the specific manufacturer of your computer could be useful for tech support. Heck, depending on what the capabilities of the embedded OS were I could see not booting into windows for a whole week sometimes.
unless the miniOS was a variant of windows, but then it wouldn’t be very mini would it?

First off, wow. 163 bags? Is it really worth it to avoid formula? Really? I’ve had thawed regular milk before. Didn’t care for it. It was almost worse than powdered milk. I can’t imagine that frozen breast milk would be any better.
