I am truly and deeply ashamed to be represented by this retard who doesn’t understand basic economics or history. (My apologies to people who are actually mentally challenged. You attempt to overcome your disability. Republicans like Steve appear to revel in it. ) You can argue against the effectiveness of FDR’s policies, say that it was actually WW2 that brought us out of the depression. I’ll still call you stupid, but I can understand why you might have such foolish ideas. But to argue that the new deal was counter-productive or actually made things worse? Really?? Here’s a simple graph.
See how it goes up sharply shortly after FDR took office? Yeah. I call that a strong recovery. The fact that it went up still faster after returning to fiscal conservatism? That’s WW2, not some stupid conservative tax cuts. We have crumbling infrastructure and people need jobs. This is basic stuff!
